Adam Fertmann

Originally from Long Island, NY, Adam is in his third year as the Associate Director of Residential Programs for the Block. No stranger
to the city, Adam earned a B.S. in Music Education and a M.A. in Student Personnel Administration from New York University. Since that time, Adam has worked in residential life at Bentley University and Iona College prior to arriving at Columbia.

As an Associate Director, Adam is charged with supervising the staff and overseeing community development initiatives within the Block as well as following up on community concerns.

In his spare time, Adam enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching sporting events (Go Yankees!) and taking in all NYC has to offer – especially theatre, restaurants, and live music.
