Apartment Hunting Made Easy

Over 30 anxious seniors came to The Block’s Apartment Hunting Workshop hosted in the Broadway First Floor Lounge on Sunday, March 27th. Two brokers from Citi Habitats, one of the leading real estate firms in NYC, explained the 411 on how to begin the search for apartments in New York City since the all-too-near graduation date is sneaking up on many Block residents. We can’t live in Columbia Housing forever! The average rent for Manhattan apartments scared just about everyone, especially those with no jobs (… yet!), but the session overall was uber-helpful and left all wondering “how would we have known all of this useful real-world knowledge if it wasn’t for this awesome RA event?”

If you would like copies of the materials handed out during the workshop, please contact Adina (adina.rose.levin@gmail.com), and hopefully a Round 2 of Apartment Hunting will be hosted in the upcoming weeks by RAs in another area!

Check out some awesome pictures below. (Big thanks to Adina for the content of this post.)
